Android phones offer the user the opportunity to do many things. Nevertheless, their screen can be considered small, for example, when watching a video with friends.

In this one, you can even cast your Android screen to a PC through a USB connection. This may sound impossible, but it is easy, especially if you are familiar with some strategies or tips on how to go about it.

Here, I describe how to display your Android phone screen on a computer through USB so that it provides increased efficiency.

It is easy to benefit from screen mirroring for project presentations, video sharing with friends or when working on a product design or software code.

It enables you to display something on a larger screen or not have to pick up your phone several times when working. Phone screen mirroring can also save the eye when working on a project or gaming for several hours.

How to allow any Android device to use USB debugging

First and foremost, one requires a USB cable and other software tools and equipment. USB cable phone screen mirroring is much faster than any wireless connection one could imagine.

It also runs on almost all desktop machines and remains stable all through. When you want to begin mirroring, you must ensure the USB debugging is on your Android phone.

    1. Go to your phone’s Settings app, then select About device.
    2. Tapping the Build number seven times to allow Developer options.
    3. Return to Settings, then More settings, then Developers settings.
    4. Go down and turn on the USB debugging switch.
    5. Press OK to confirm that decision.

Sometimes, the procedures for enabling USB debugging might slightly differ depending on the Android phone you are using.

Ways of Casting Your Android Phone Screen to a PC Using a USB Cord

This method works when you activate the USB debugging on the targeted Android device so that you can mirror Android to a PC.

Here’s how to mirror your Android phone’s screen to your PC with Scrcpy:

    1. Download Scrcpy from GitHub. Connect your Android phone to the PC
    2. Unpack the Scrcpy app into a directory on the PC and operate it from this directory.
    3. Upon start-up of Scrcpy, it will identify your phone and display it on your PC
    4. Phone mirror through the Scrcpy app.

    2- Vysor:

You should attempt to cast your Android screen to a computer through USB with Vysor. When a successful connection has been established on both screens, one can navigate the touch phone on a computerized screen.

    4. To view the screen of your phone on the PC.
    5. Your Android phone can be then controlled using your computer.

    3- Phone Link

If you are a Samsung phone user, you can use the Phone Link, an inbuilt application by Microsoft, to mirror the screen onto your Windows PC.

To use it, firstly, download and install Phone Link on a Windows PC and Samsung phone and connect them. Then, follow the steps below:

    1. Launch the Phone Link on your Windows PC and click the picture of your Smartphone.
    2. Choose the Start Now option in the prompt that appears to give you permission to share your phone screen with the PC.

And that’s about it. Your Windows PC will show the screen of your Samsung phone.

Streaming Android Screen to the PC

While using phone apps, you can view your applications on a larger screen; for this, you need a PC, a USB cable, and a particular software application.

If you have successfully identified the best mirroring software for your needs, follow the below procedures to mirror your phone to your PC.

In this regard, most of the phone screen mirroring software often available can run on any computer operating system, and in addition, the connection type offered is wireless.
